Came back home to let off some steam. I am not sure how, but I have no idea what I am doing in linear algebra. If anyone can provide some tips that would be beautiful. Call me crazy, but loud cars are a great stress relief.

The hell? What is that from?

Despicable Me. The guy in orange is named Vector, because he has direction and magnitude.

Ew gross, don't remind me of Calc 3. That shit is behind me now. . . although I will need it in the future.

It's bullshit that's what it is. I was totally following everything until he brought out the X. What the fuck is this. I thought this was math not english.

Its easy. X is a variable. when the prof. says "solve for X" reply "X is a variable and needs to solve his own problems because I am done dealing with his manic depressant BS!"

X can't do jack shit. Never mind that it thinks it is always equal to y.

Linear algebra and discrete mathematics were the two courses that mystified me in school. Luckily I was able to barely pass them and I never saw anything related to them in the real world.
Only advice, push through.

Right? if A = B and B = C, then why the hell can't they all just be A and shut the fuck up about it?!

I guess I am going to have to. I got really annoyed though and just left school. Shouldn't have done that but oh well.

Not to mention that they think they can integrate into society. It isn't that easy buddy. You were T AND YOU WILL ALWAYS STAY T!!

Well as long as they are not R and ^n...

The grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy are on netflix. that should un-frustrate you.

At least in my experience, linear algebra was 5% new knowledge and 95% using a new shorthand to hand-calculate things that would otherwise take hundreds of hours. It's all still basic algebra, just expanded and made more complex, but you're still just adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and taking the derivative and integrals. Nothing else.

First things first, I really want that Audi.... So badly. Second things second, whats with most of this guys launches? Little more on-of than you typically see on a few of them. Some damn fast runs too though.
Back to the important shit though. Look on the bright side. At least it's not Multivariable Calculus.

That is what I was told, but this new knowledge. . .well I don't know what the new knowledge is. It has to be the TA, I took multi variable calc last semester and that made more sense than this.

I bet he could have ran a faster time, if he was shifting faster and he had set the turbo up a little better. It seems like he isn't getting most of the power until the last 1500 revs. He could be like this guy, with about the same power.
Also, I took Multi-variable calc last semester. I understood that better

I was thinking about watching something awesome. And now I know what.

Then there is dr. Who just always disappears.

Not sure, seemed like he was hitting peak torque around the 4 grand mark, seemed to be where all the wheel-spin was happening at least. Seemed to have it dialed in nicely for that 11.66 at the end though, despite a little wheel hop.
I dunno though, taking Multi 2 now, just not a huge fan of all the guess that this will be a potential solution to this and run this massive sequence of equations to pull out an answer. Basically ODE's can suck my balls, the rest isn't too bad.

Probably, I remember linear being easy.
I don't remember what the fuck it is, but it was easy. Something with matrices and shit, right?

A 600hp Subaru can do 10 second quaters, so a 1000hp quattro should be able to do better. Part of it is down to the launch and the shifting. I also, think he has quite a bit more lag. If he shifted faster he could totally do a 10 or maybe even a 9 second quarter.
Multivariable calc 2? That sounds like a real mofo. I only had to take one semester of it, now I am done.

That's what all my friends said too. I am getting really annoyed that I have no idea what is going on.

I could see 10's. From the description it sounds like those were low boost runs, so probably closer to 700-800 at the time. Full boost and proper driving would certainly be under 10's.
It's sufficiently weird. Wish I could be done with it.

I found this dyno of the car, and it is ridiculous!!! I'd still drive it.

Wow.... That's insane. over 1200 bhp running what like 28psi? Has to be. That's insane. That lag. Holy hell. I want one.
![]() 01/25/2014 at 13:20 |

This is at 3 bar, so about 43psi.
